Product information

An industry-standard Pt-100 thermal resistance (RTD) sensor, the Rosemount 65 thermal resistance temperature sensor is a single or two-element device designed according to the IEC 751 standard to cover a wide range of temperatures. The sensor is vibration-resistant and the junction box can be quickly installed and replaced. The thermistor has A Class A or Class B precision calibration option or calibration table option and a Callendar-Van Dusen constant.

Rosemount Series 0065 resistive temperature detectors and Series 185 thermocouple temperature sensors can be ordered in complete assemblies. These assemblies provide a complete, simple method for most temperature measurements with appropriate industrial hardware. Obtain an assembly model number from the order form and define in detail the type of sensing element, the material, length and type of extension and thermocouple bushing. All sensor assemblies are dimensioned and inspected by Rosemount Measurement Division to ensure maximum compatibility and performance.

Rosemount's integrated installation of temperature sensors, accessory hardware and assemblies form a complete suite of industrial temperature sensing instruments. A variety of resistive temperature detectors and thermocouple sensors can be used alone or as complete assemblies, including junction boxes, thermocouple bushings and extension accessories. The products offered here are designed for applications with a full range of temperature measurement assemblies, including Rosemount intelligent and programmable temperature transmitters. Please check with your local Rosemont representative for details.

Series 65 Platinum Resistance Temperature detector The temperature sensor presents a very high linear and stable relationship between resistance and temperature. These sensors are primarily used in industrial environments where high precision, durability and long-term stability are required. The 65 series sensors are designed to meet most of the key parameters in the following international standards: DIN EN 60751 combined with amendments 1 and 2, DIN 43760 and BS 1904. (1) This standardization makes the sensor interchangeable without the need to adjust the transmitter circuit. The 65 Series sensors are equipped with a range of intelligent temperature transmitters, which improve performance and obtain temperature measurement accuracy through calibration and Callendar van Dusen constant.
